Queen Letizia of Spain Really Loves Her Steve Madden Heels

Earlier today, Queen Letizia of Spain hosted an audience at Zarzuela Palace to honor the creation of a new painting room at the Prado Museum. And while Her Majesty has lately taken her regal wardrobe into directional territory—Massimo Dutti’s printed accordion-pleat dress for day, Pedro del Hierro’s midnight-blue asymmetric jumpsuit after dark—today she returned to a classic look.

The Hugo Boss tweed suit is a go-to for Letizia, who first donned the ensemble this past March for a ceremony in Madrid on World Rare Disease Day, and wore it again in May for Red Cross World Day. The black leather trim created a graphic look together with her black mock-neck top. The interplay of textures on her suit was nicely set off by the transparent PVC strap on her black heels, which were also a wardrobe repeat: Steve Madden's Plaza pumps. It seems even royals love a good deal.
