Rita Ora Delivers the Antidote to the Frumpy, Michelin-Man Puffer

Oh, the puffer: perhaps the trickiest winter coat of them all! Though the cozy insulated coat provides the kind of reassuring warmth few other outerwear pieces can, its voluminous silhouette can read 100 percent Michelin Man. But fear not: there is an answer to this seasonal conundrum, and Rita Ora just might have it.

The British singer combatted the brisk weather while performing at the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade in New York City yesterday, dressed in an above-the-knee puffer coat by Moncler. With its extra-puffy sleeves and cinched waist, the coat had a more tailored line than you’d expect from the average puffer.

To streamline her ensemble further still, she paired the coat with black tights and a sheer, lace-trimmed skirt. Accessories such as a hefty pair of lug-sole combat boots were primed for chilly temperatures.
